Restoration Technician — Mold & Water Damage

The Restoration Technician — Mold & Water Damage role is onsite in Austin, TX. Pay is $22–$26 per hour. Lightspeed Restoration helps Austin-area homeowners and businesses recover from mold, water, and fire damage. The technician performs mold remediation and water damage mitigation, following detailed procedures to protect customers and prepare affected areas for verification or drying. Careful documentation, safe work practices, and quality execution support the company’s goal of doing each job thoroughly.

What you'll do

• Set up and maintain negative-pressure containment per IICRC S520
• remove and bag affected materials
• HEPA vacuum and detail-clean surfaces
• apply antimicrobials and encapsulants
• operate air filtration devices
• extract water and set drying equipment
• take moisture readings and document progress
• perform controlled demolition
• take job photos and notes
• maintain clean, safe job sites and use proper PPE and chemical safety practices
• participate in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
