The Systems Engineer 2 role is onsite in Fort Meade, MD, supporting the Intelligence Community and the GATEKEEPER product. The annual base salary range is $160,000–$200,000. T-Rex Solutions provides data-centric mission services to federal government customers. The engineer helps build and manage product installations for Department of Defense customers and supports the software development lifecycle. Working with developers, QA, DevOps, and other systems engineers, the role contributes to testing, validation, performance tuning, production readiness, and compliance with security practices and organizational standards.

What you'll do

• Build and manage GATEKEEPER product installations for DoD customers
• collaborate with development and QA teams on system testing, validation, and performance tuning
• support production readiness and compliance with security best practices and organizational standards
• maintain system documentation, monitoring, logging, and alerting
• contribute to cloud, database, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD work.
