Special Education Teacher

The Special Education Teacher position is onsite in Columbia, MD, working in a school. Compensation is $30–$55 per hour. What you'll do

• Create and implement individualized education plans, prepare lesson plans for administrator approval, participate in scheduled IEP meetings, communicate with staff and families about student progress, use individualized reinforcement techniques, prepare quarterly progress reports, consult with an onsite therapist about disciplinary and behavioral issues, and maintain a safe, productive classroom.
• The posting requires a master’s degree in special education and experience working with K–12 children.
