What you'll do

• Schedule preventive maintenance and manage related inventory
• establish maintenance schedules for equipment and buildings
• inspect facilities and equipment to detect and correct potential failures
• oversee operation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, pumps, compressors, laundry, boilers, fire and life-safety equipment, kitchens, and other facilities equipment
• perform major preventive repairs
• guide and develop subordinates
• supervise nighttime or weekend repairs that cannot be completed during the typical workday
• provide customer service to residents.
