The Yoga Instructor role is onsite in Richmond, VA, at an inpatient detox and residential treatment facility. Pay is $40–$50 per hour. Avenues Recovery operates addiction treatment programs, including detox and residential care. The instructor leads group yoga and mindfulness sessions that support clients’ recovery skills and well-being. The role also coordinates with the clinical team and documents sessions and client progress to support continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Develop and conduct group yoga sessions
• model yoga positions, breathing, stretches, and mindfulness techniques
• encourage client engagement
• collaborate with the clinical team to track progress and coordinate care
• document sessions and client challenges and progress
• model recovery principles in client interactions. A valid yoga instruction certification is required.
