Job overview
The Local Class B Vacuum Route Driver is an onsite role based in Knoxville, TN. The pay range is $21.00–$23.00 per hour plus commission. This position supports the environmental and industrial services team at Safety-Kleen. This role exists to manage a route and operate a vacuum truck to collect industrial waste from customers, such as automotive repair shops, and transport it to disposal sites. The driver contributes to the team by ensuring customer satisfaction, prospecting for new accounts, and maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
What you'll do
- Operate vacuum trucks, visit 10-12 customer sites daily, collect industrial waste, complete documentation, sell products and services, and prospect for new accounts.
