Scheduler — Mandarin-Bilingual Radiology Appointments

The Scheduler role is an in-person position in El Monte, CA, with a Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule and every other Saturday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Pay is $20–$22 per hour. The role supports Astrana Health’s patient-focused scheduling and department operations. The scheduler coordinates radiology appointments and related communications so patients and referring providers receive appointment confirmations, preparation instructions, and assistance with insurance and authorization steps. What you'll do

• Answer and transfer phone calls
• schedule radiology procedures and exams
• provide preparation instructions
• review and confirm provider orders and insurance authorizations
• contact patients and physician offices about appointments and preparation
• verify insurance coverage
• monitor and respond to provider faxes
• fax reports
• provide Mandarin interpretation or translation as needed
• assist departments with medical history or insurance information
• request prior imaging records
• and support front desk operations as needed.
