What you'll do

• Repair and maintain die-casting and trim dies
• assist tooling personnel with tooling and equipment maintenance
• use manual mills, lathes, and profile grinding
• inspect and clean die cavities and surfaces
• repair water lines and replace fittings
• replace ejector and punch pins
• troubleshoot minor tool problems
• prepare dies for outside vendor shipment
• operate shop equipment
• work safely with hot molds using provided PPE
• follow work instructions and document work.
