What you'll do

• Review patient records
• label samples
• prepare equipment for venipuncture
• perform venipuncture and finger-sticks
• centrifuge samples according to protocol
• monitor patients and sample quality
• maintain confidentiality and comfort
• sanitize equipment and work areas
• use personal protective equipment
• prepare specimens for transport and ship them to the central lab daily
• and cross-train in listed medical-assistant screening duties. The posting requires at least one year of adult venipuncture experience, specimen-processing experience, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility to drive a company vehicle. Team members share van driving and equipment loading and unloading.
