What you'll do

• Welcome patients, families, physicians, and visitors in person and by phone
• preregister and register patients in the EMR
• enter insurance and demographic information and consent forms
• verify insurance and notify patients of coverage and cost-sharing responsibilities
• direct calls and distribute mail and messages
• prepare patient documents
• accept and post payments
• coordinate with clinical staff on procedure lengths, room availability, and supplies
• coordinate schedules with the anesthesia group.
