The planner owns material availability across raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods, connecting manufacturing schedules with supplier operations. The role uses planning systems and data workflows to reduce supply risks and prevent production interruptions.

What you'll do

• Develop raw-material replenishment and master supply plans
• validate supplier and contract-manufacturer material readiness
• track lead times and mitigate risks for critical components
• investigate material discrepancies and planning mismatches
• coordinate engineering changes and part transitions
• establish safety stock and reorder points
• reconcile inventory and work in progress
• maintain point-of-use material availability
• release purchase requisitions based on MRP signals
• optimize ERP material master data.
