The Field Service Technician 2 — Window and Door Installation and Repair is an onsite role based in San Francisco, CA, with daily travel within an assigned territory and possible overnight travel. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour. Cornerstone Building Brands manufactures exterior building products, including windows and doors. The technician performs advanced diagnostics, repairs, and installations to resolve service and warranty concerns and support customer satisfaction. The role also coordinates multi-technician jobs, documents test results, and provides technical support to internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Perform advanced window and door diagnostics, repairs, and installations
• apply knowledge of window types, door systems, and wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass materials
• use hand and power tools
• provide technical support by phone and email
• conduct and document water tests
• evaluate and support installation projects
• coordinate jobs requiring two or more technicians
• professionally de-escalate warranty or service concerns
• perform specialized water-intrusion and shaped-product repairs
• communicate with customers and sales teams
• travel within the assigned territory daily, with overnight travel possibly required.
