The Security Support Specialist role is onsite in Arlington, VA. The stated annual salary range is $80,500–$149,500. The position is in Contact Government Services’ Administrative and Logistics Support department, supporting government security activities and mission requirements. The specialist assists with planning, implementing, monitoring, and advising on security activities for highly classified programs. The role develops written security approaches, supports security training and compliance, coordinates with government and industrial security officials, and contributes to secure operations and contingency readiness.

What you'll do

• Plan and assist with security activities for Top Secret and higher classification environments
• develop written technical approaches and methodologies for security proposals
• support compartmented program integration and mission planning
• support SCIF planning, accreditation, and recertification
• plan and lead security training
• support foreign disclosure actions
• coordinate personnel background investigations and clearance actions
• formulate and monitor information-system security procedures
• liaise with government and industrial security officials
• brief personnel on security practices and programs.
