Senior Electrical Engineer, X-Ray Sources

The Senior Electrical Engineer, X-Ray Sources role is onsite in Orem, UT, with annual compensation of $100,000–$110,000. The engineer works within Moxtek’s X-ray Sources Development group. The role owns electrical designs from concept through production release and sustaining support, contributing to the development and validation of electronics used to operate X-ray tubes. It also provides technical guidance and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, production, quality, and test teams.

What you'll do

• Design analog, digital, embedded-control, and power-electronic circuits, including high-voltage power conversion and control systems
• develop electrical specifications
• perform schematic capture, PCB design and layout, simulation, prototype development, verification, and validation
• troubleshoot electrical and system issues and conduct root-cause analysis
• participate in design reviews, FMEA, risk assessments, and engineering changes
• select and qualify components and test equipment
• support product qualification, regulatory compliance, electrical safety testing, and sustaining engineering
• document engineering results and mentor engineers and technicians.
