Maintenance Technician — Day Shift

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Rice, MN, with compensation of $28.25 per hour. The role supports production at Virnig Manufacturing by maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility systems. The technician helps keep production safe and reliable by troubleshooting and repairing equipment, completing inspections and preventive maintenance, documenting work, and supporting equipment installations and production needs.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair tools, lifting equipment, forklifts, building systems, painting equipment, and large machinery
• perform legally permitted general electrical work
• follow lockout/tagout procedures
• record maintenance information
• request and order parts
• conduct safety inspections
• communicate safety protocols to contractors
• participate in Safety Committee discussions
• perform grounds work
• assist with equipment installations, shop setup, and production as required.
