Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant role is onsite in Orlando, FL. Compensation is $19–$25 per hour. The position supports the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The assistant helps the dentist deliver patient care by preparing equipment, assisting during examinations and procedures, and helping patients understand their care plans. Scheduling and accurate patient information support the dental team’s clinical and administrative work.

What you'll do

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable
• discuss dental care plans and answer questions
• take vital signs and record medical history
• prepare sterilized equipment
• assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• follow health, safety, and office policies
• schedule appointments.
