School Age Leader

Job overview

The School Age Leader role is onsite in Seekonk, MA, with before-school hours of 6:45–8:45 a.m. and after-school hours between 2:30 and 6:00 p.m. Pay is $16.50 per hour. The role supports Greater Providence YMCA school-age programs. The position assists the Site Coordinator with planning and leading age-appropriate, academically aligned activities while supervising children and supporting their safety, social-emotional development, and participation.

What you'll do

• Assist the Site Coordinator with program planning and implementation
• lead and supervise individual and group activities
• support children’s health, safety, inclusion, and equity
• help plan family events
• provide snacks or meals and complete related meal counts and cleaning
• maintain equipment and site appearance
• attend staff meetings and training
• and help supervise the program when the Coordinator is absent.
