The Pharmacist in Charge, Mail-Order Pharmacy role is an onsite position in Bloomingdale, IL, with compensation of $150,000–$175,000 per year. The role oversees Nexus HR’s multi-state, closed-door mail-order pharmacy operations. The pharmacist ensures regulatory compliance and medication safety while supervising pharmacy staff and managing dispensing, inventory, and controlled-substance accountability. Coordination with the third-party logistics provider supports accurate, secure, and timely medication shipments to facility-based customers.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, and Board of Pharmacy standards
• oversee prescription verification, dispensing, labeling, packaging, and medication safety
• maintain pharmacy and controlled-substance records
• manage inventory and expiration dates
• supervise and train pharmacy staff
• coordinate secure and timely shipments with the 3PL provider
• investigate errors and complaints and implement corrective actions
• maintain licenses and regulatory readiness
• communicate with providers and facility customers
• oversee counseling and medication education when applicable.
