What you'll do

• Purchase packaging components, spices, ingredients, and other materials
• prepare purchase orders and maintain records
• compare supplier quotations and evaluate costs
• recommend purchasing decisions and order quantities
• maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels
• coordinate orders with production schedules
• track deliveries and expedite shipments when needed
• maintain supplier records and performance evaluations
• support resolution of nonconforming material issues
• coordinate with purchasing and production planning.
