The helper provides consistent, hands-on support to a client with advanced dementia who is wheelchair-bound and bed-bound, helping with personal care, wound care, repositioning, transfers, meals, and safety.

What you'll do

• Provide morning and evening personal care
• perform wound care and apply prescribed creams
• reposition the client to help prevent bed sores
• assist with bed-to-wheelchair transfers
• help with meal preparation and feeding
• assist with showering
• maintain the client’s comfort, dignity, and safety.
