Senior Group Leader, School-Age Program

Job overview

The Senior Group Leader works onsite in Lowell, MA, providing before- and after-school care; pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Community Teamwork supports housing, education, and economic opportunities through community programs. This role helps keep school-age program sites operating safely and consistently while supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being through supervision, curriculum activities, and mentoring.

What you'll do

• Lead site operations when the Site Manager is away
• supervise children and maintain attendance records
• follow program policies, Early Education and Care regulations, and USDA guidelines
• assist with weekly curriculum and daily activities
• mentor youth, support homework and goal setting, communicate concerns to leadership, and maintain confidentiality.
