What you'll do

• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia
• restrain animals and triage incoming patients
• collect and analyze laboratory samples
• perform diagnostic imaging
• provide nursing care to medical and hospitalized cases
• administer medications
• communicate treatment plans with clients
• prepare for surgery, assist during procedures, manage anesthesia, and complete surgical notes and charts.
