Batch Technician

Job overview

The Batch Technician role is onsite in Columbia, SC. Compensation is $17.75 per hour for the first 90 days and $18.25 per hour after 90 days. The role supports China Jushi USA’s fiberglass manufacturing operations. The technician helps safely unload and process batch raw materials, monitor weighing and mixing, and maintain quality and efficiency. The work contributes to reliable batch output through equipment monitoring, problem response, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Unload railcars, trucks, and supersacks of batch raw materials, including outdoor work in all weather
• monitor batch mixing and weighing and perform visual inspections
• connect, disconnect, and spot railcars on unloading rails
• monitor silo and mix-bin levels
• respond to batch leaks, overweight conditions, and plugged lines
• monitor batch performance and address problems
• perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs
• follow health and safety procedures
• ensure output meets quality and efficiency standards.
