What you'll do

• Supervise construction sites and serve as the onsite contact for customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• lead safety and quality practices
• understand contract scope and identify field-initiated changes
• support productivity, schedule, and budget goals
• provide craft guidance in welding, structural erection, tank repair, tank construction, and rigging
• evaluate, train, and mentor field employees
• assist with recruiting
• maintain tools and equipment
• contribute to preconstruction planning
• coordinate with project management and support teams
• complete time sheets, audits, inspections, and other project paperwork
• communicate potential problems and schedule difficulties
• provide final project paperwork for the quality-control book.
