Substance Abuse Professional

What you'll do

• Conduct client and family assessments and support diagnosis and treatment planning
• provide individual and group counseling
• document progress and interventions within 24 hours
• interview clients and others to assess needs and program suitability
• develop treatment and relapse-prevention plans
• review recovery goals and readiness for step-down, discharge, and aftercare
• participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• provide crisis intervention as needed.
