Job overview

The Mental Health Professional role is based in Baton Rouge, LA, with services delivered to clients in home or community-based settings. Pay is $18–$23 per hour. HCO Behavioral Health provides psychosocial rehabilitation services to adolescent and adult clients. Under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional and Program Director, the role helps clients build social, interpersonal, and daily living skills and manage the effects of psychiatric or emotional symptoms. It contributes to coordinated rehabilitation services through client planning, documentation, crisis intervention, and community resource connections.

What you'll do

• Provide individual psychosocial rehabilitation services to adolescent and adult clients
• assist with treatment goals and development of social, interpersonal, and daily living skills
• support coping and self-management
• provide crisis intervention
• document services within 24 hours
• attend agency meetings, training, and supervision
• coordinate with clinical and administrative staff
• monitor rehabilitation status and maintain weekly community resource appointments.
