What you'll do
- Process and confirm bank deposits against daily lockbox source documents
- post deposits to the practice management system
- complete daily and month-end batch close processes and balance batches
- retain financial documents
- post patient and insurance payments and adjustments, including electronic remittance advice
- review EOBs for appeals, research, resubmission, and denial trends
- process refunds
- retrieve missing payer information
- work assigned accounts-receivable tasks and correct EDI rejection errors
- assist with department calls
- post payments within two business days of batch receipt.
