Security Officer — Campus

The Security Officer role is onsite at Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m.; additional hours may be required for special events, holiday coverage, vacation coverage, or other campus needs. Compensation is not specified. The role supports campus safety for students, faculty, staff, families, guests, and visitors. The officer maintains a visible security presence, monitors campus activity, conducts rounds, and responds to concerns and emergencies. The role also helps secure facilities and grounds and supports school events with security and traffic control.

What you'll do

• Maintain a visible campus presence and detect, deter, observe, and report
• conduct foot and vehicle rounds
• check buildings, doors, windows, and lights
• report safety and maintenance concerns
• monitor student activity and authorized areas
• respond to minor emergencies and assist with serious emergencies under the Crisis Response Manual
• report incidents to administrators and emergency services as needed
• provide security and traffic control at special events
• assist campus community members professionally.
