Large Loss Estimator

The Large Loss Estimator works onsite in Macomb, MI. Compensation is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports a restoration team handling complex commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential losses, including projects exceeding $1 million. The estimator develops scopes and estimates, negotiates project scope with insurance stakeholders, and coordinates with project management and operations. This work supports safe, efficient, and profitable restoration project delivery from estimating through completion.

What you'll do

• Prepare estimates and scopes using Xactimate and related tools
• inspect fire, water, storm, mold, environmental, and catastrophic damage
• create floor plans and documentation
• meet with owners, adjusters, consultants, engineers, and TPAs to review scope and negotiate settlements
• manage budgets, schedules, and quality across projects
• review pricing and subcontractor proposals
• transition projects to operations
• identify potential environmental hazards
• assist with emergency response when required.
