Install and Operation Technician II

Job overview

The Install and Operation Technician II role is onsite in Austin, TX, with work in Taylor, TX as needed; pay is $26–$28 per hour. WGNSTAR supports the semiconductor industry and offers on-the-job training and tailored development. The technician maintains and supports site-specific heating systems, responds to equipment issues, and participates in installation and commissioning work. Accurate records, safety and cleanroom compliance, and reliability improvements support site operations.

What you'll do

• Support operation, preventive and breakdown maintenance, and repair of site-specific heating systems
• inspect systems and log data
• troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues
• follow safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols
• maintain records and spare-parts inventory
• collaborate with engineering and vendors
• participate in installation, commissioning, reconfiguration, and demonstrations
• respond to alarms and support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
