The Principal Consultant – Public Sector role is an onsite position based at Appian’s headquarters in McLean, VA, with an expectation of working in the office four to five days per week. The consultant leads complex technical delivery and consulting initiatives, shaping client experience and helping customers implement and adopt enterprise process automation. The role also mentors consultants and partners with architects and technical delivery managers on system design.

What you'll do

• Lead project lifecycles to define, design, and implement Appian automation solutions
• lead and mentor consultants
• collaborate with architects and technical delivery managers on resilient, scalable, secure architectures
• build integrations using REST, SOAP, and JDBC
• oversee relational data models and SQL database designs
• work with client executives and technical stakeholders to support platform adoption.
