Data Systems Project Manager — Temporary, 12 Months

The Data Systems Project Manager role is onsite in Seattle, WA. Compensation is $126,402.96–$143,013.36 per year. This 12-month position supports DESC’s affordable housing, behavioral health, and medical programs as the agency assesses client-focused software needs. The project manager leads a cross-agency assessment and procurement effort to identify software solutions, improve interoperability and data sharing, and reduce risk and inefficiency. The role coordinates program staff, IT, compliance teams, and a steering committee through evaluation, recommendations, and implementation planning.

What you'll do

• Facilitate the Project Steering Committee
• interview and shadow program staff to document software and data needs
• document existing systems with IT and development staff
• identify compliance requirements
• evaluate options and make recommendations
• manage procurement from solicitation through negotiation
• support communications and change management
• and develop an RFP covering business, technical, compatibility, and compliance requirements.
