Internal Medicine Physician – Wound Care is an onsite, mobile practice based in Wausau, WI, with a stated compensation range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. The physician visits post-acute care facilities within a 40–60-mile radius and provides bedside wound care. The physician conducts wound rounds, evaluates and treats patients, and documents care in a wound-specific electronic medical record. The role supports wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals, with paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship.

What you'll do

• Provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings
• conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities
• visit 2–3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day
• document care in real time using the proprietary wound-specific EMR
• and complete the required minimum of three weekdays per week for part-time work.
