Buyer – Day Shift

What you'll do

• Maintain the purchasing database
• obtain quotations and review bids for non-key components
• place purchase orders and expedite or de-expedite materials in response to MRP schedule changes
• follow up on shortages and pursue second sourcing
• validate material lead times
• resolve invoicing issues and material discrepancies
• negotiate prices for assigned items or commodities
• manage excess inventory
• support cost reduction.

Why this role
