The Mental Health Diagnostic Assessor role is based in Cleveland, OH, with assessments at ACE locations, virtually, or at clients’ homes across Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour. ACE Wellness Center provides mental health services to clients and families. The assessor completes diagnostic evaluations and psychosocial histories, formulates diagnoses using DSM-V criteria, and recommends treatment options and level of care. The work helps connect clients and families with appropriate services and clinical staff.

What you'll do

• Evaluate client and family functioning
• explain ACE mental health services and engage families, youth, and relevant agencies
• verify insurance coverage
• complete diagnostic evaluations and formulate DSM-V diagnoses
• maintain knowledge of psychological measures
• obtain required documents and signatures
• summarize treatment issues and expected outcomes
• complete reports within required timeframes
• receive referrals and delegate to appropriate clinical staff.
