Environmental Sample Courier

Job overview

The Environmental Sample Courier works onsite in Tinley Park, IL, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Eurofins Environment Testing provides analytical testing services that contribute to health, safety, and environmental protection. The courier transports water, soil, and air samples and related supplies to support laboratory analysis while protecting sample integrity and meeting hold-time and turnaround objectives. The role also supports sample control through shipping, receiving, recordkeeping, and sampling events as needed.

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver samples and bottle orders
• verify sample counts and chain-of-custody records
• inspect samples for damage and hold-time issues
• maintain courier logs and vehicle records
• restock supplies
• prepare and ship sample kits
• perform sampling events as needed
• dispose of samples and hazardous waste according to guidelines.
