Plant Maintenance Technician — Rotating Shifts

The work supports safe, efficient production through preventive and corrective maintenance, accurate records, coordination with operators and specialists, and participation in safety and reliability improvement activities.

What you'll do

• Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• execute preventive and corrective maintenance using procedures, diagrams, OEM instructions, and engineering specifications
• diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
• use precision instrumentation and measurement
• interpret manuals, procedures, drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
• perform lubrication, part replacement, and condition-based inspections
• maintain maintenance records and CMMS logs
• coordinate contractors and specialists
• provide feedback on maintenance planning
• comply with EHS, process safety, production, and quality requirements
• support incident investigations and root-cause analysis
• complete required training.

Why this role

Rotating shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; flexible hours, overtime, callouts, and on-call availability are required. High school diploma required; trade or technical degree or apprenticeship and Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification are preferred. Requires 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a chemical, refinery, or similar industrial plant environment.
