The Cook role is onsite in New Bedford, MA. Pay is $22.20–$23.09 per hour. The cook is part of the Food Service Department. The cook prepares and serves daily meals, checks deliveries, and maintains a safe, clean kitchen. The role supports food service operations by preparing ingredients, handling and rotating products properly, assisting colleagues, and following health and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up, clean, and organize workstations
• prepare ingredients
• cook and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• check delivered orders
• handle, store, and rotate products
• maintain walk-in cooler and freezer according to Board of Health regulations
• assist other cooks and food service team members
• pick up supply orders at the Food Bank
• observe health and safety requirements.
