Hospitalist Physician Assistant | Day Rounding

The Hospitalist Physician Assistant role is onsite in Manhattan, KS. Compensation is $95,000 part-time or $190,000 full-time annually, with productivity and quality bonus incentives. The role supports the hospitalist team at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, a community-based hospital. The physician assistant helps manage hospitalized patients from admission through discharge, rounding with the physician team and coordinating care with tele-intensivist support. The position contributes to inpatient care and team workflow in an open ICU environment.

What you'll do

• Round on hospitalized patients as part of the team
• manage patients from admission to discharge
• coordinate with a tele-intensivist, who handles procedures
• use Magnetech with Dragon for dictation and the internal informatics platform for workflow and communication
• work in an open ICU with tele-intensivist backup.
