The Senior Retirement Benefits Specialist role is onsite in Troy, MI; compensation is not specified. Vensure provides HR technology, managed services, and business process outsourcing to businesses and supports client-sponsored retirement plans and its 401(k) MEP and PEP plans. The specialist handles advanced plan administration and compliance work, supports audits and plan conversions, and serves as a technical resource for client inquiries. By coordinating with vendors, auditors, payroll, sales, client relations, and retirement colleagues, the role helps ensure accurate, timely plan operations and supports the development of other team members.

What you'll do

• Administer retirement plans, including contribution corrections, escalated distribution and loan reviews, and exception processing
• respond to advanced 401(k) inquiries
• coordinate annual Form 5500 audits with vendors and auditors
• maintain process documentation
• conduct vendor due diligence and resolve escalated issues
• facilitate Small Account Force-Outs and other plan projects
• coordinate with Payroll, Sales, Client Relations, and Retirement team members
• mentor other Retirement team members.
