Job overview

The System Float Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite at CorrHealth facilities, with weekly travel among locations in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming; the employee must reside in one of those states. Pay is $52 per hour. CorrHealth provides healthcare services in correctional facilities. The RN assesses inmate health needs, provides nursing care and prescribed treatments, responds to medical issues and emergencies, and maintains accurate records. The role supports patient health while following facility security procedures and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

What you'll do

• Assess new inmates and initiate medical records
• respond to medical issues and emergencies
• administer prescribed treatments and medications
• prepare equipment and rooms for examinations
• maintain IVs as needed
• coordinate with the Health Services Administrator
• educate patients
• travel weekly to designated facilities.
