After-School Program Educator — Discovery Club

The After-School Program Educator role is an in-person position in Newton Center, MA. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. The educator supports Discovery Club, JCC Greater Boston’s after-school enrichment program for students in grades K–5.

What you'll do

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom
• lead activities for children ages 5–11
• support social-emotional learning, Jewish experiential learning, and general enrichment with Discovery Club leadership
• follow Early Education & Care policies
• communicate with program leadership and staff
• and participate in meetings, training, orientation, and onboarding. The typical schedule is 3:00–6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12:30–6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
