What you'll do
- Assess pharmacotherapy and prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, dosage, and interactions
- communicate clinical judgments and medication substitutions
- educate patients, families, and caregivers
- help address treatment adherence
- monitor outcomes and document treatment strategies
- ensure medication and refills are available
- prepare or oversee preparation, labeling, and dispensing
- report clinical concerns to the supervisory pharmacist.
