The Travel Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department, Nights role is onsite in Oro Valley, AZ, for a 13-week travel contract. Pay is $1,823–$1,824 per week. The nurse supports the Emergency Department team and works nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends. The role exists to provide patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced clinical setting and promote safe patient outcomes. The nurse assesses and prioritizes care, responds to emergencies, coordinates treatment with the healthcare team, and may float to other units as required.

What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Emergency Department patients
• recognize changes in patient conditions and respond to emergencies
• prioritize care using clinical judgment
• collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• administer medications and treatments
• document in Cerner
• delegate and supervise assigned personnel
• maintain competencies
• follow infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency response procedures
• float to other units as needed.
