What you'll do

• Lead pre-shift safety discussions, inspections, risk assessments, and permit and procedure checks
• maintain field presence and verify corrective actions
• communicate shift plans and hazards
• assign and coach operators
• direct surface haulage, road maintenance, dust control, tailings placement, waste rock placement, and water systems
• coordinate troubleshooting with operations and technical teams
• manage task sequencing and escalate changes
• maintain environmental controls
• document downtime, process instability, and production effects.
