The manager leads deli and bakery operations, associates, and guest service while working toward department sales and financial objectives. The role oversees ordering, merchandising, food safety, staffing, training, inventory, and daily department standards.

What you'll do

• Assist guests with product recommendations, requests, and special orders
• order products and supplies
• implement deli and bakery operating procedures
• schedule, interview, hire, review, train, and develop associates
• manage price changes, signs, inventory, product rotation, and waste records
• maintain sanitation and food safety
• oversee guest service, cases, coolers, and backroom conditions
• plan seasonal merchandising
• achieve sales and financial objectives.
