What you'll do

• Coordinate dietary department operations and nutritional services
• recruit, train, and retain qualified kitchen staff
• supervise preparation and service of menus, nourishments, and supplements
• ensure food is received, stored, prepared, and served according to policies and regulations
• purchase food and supplies within assigned budgets
• maintain financial records
• participate in nutritional care-plan assessment and implementation
• follow food quality assurance processes
• assist with nutrition education for residents, patients, families, and caregivers
• supervise dietary staff.
