Toddler Teacher

The Toddler Teacher role is onsite in West Chester, PA, with compensation of $14–$18 per hour. Little Bugs Preschool provides play-based early learning and child care for children from infancy through school age. The teacher plans developmentally appropriate learning activities, maintains a safe classroom, and supports toddlers’ social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The role also includes responsive care during daily routines, classroom recordkeeping, communication with families, and collaboration with classroom staff.

What you'll do

• Plan age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards
• maintain lesson plans
• supervise children and maintain a safe, clean classroom
• support development through play-based learning
• assist with meals, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and rest
• maintain classroom records and progress reports
• communicate with families
• collaborate with staff
• participate in meetings and professional development.
