• Welcome patients and visitors

• collect copayments and outstanding balances
• obtain referrals and authorizations when required
• scan records into patient charts
• schedule follow-up visits and other services
• communicate patient arrivals and delays to clinical staff
• maintain office supplies and equipment
• protect patient information
• and support accurate records and billing. May process referrals, charge entries, and surgery, diagnostic, or imaging scheduling as needed.
