What you'll do

• Coordinate physician surgery schedules
• communicate with referring attorneys and physicians
• work with patients, insurance companies, and surgery centers to coordinate procedures
• schedule pre- and post-operative appointments
• educate patients about preparation, food, fluid, medication, and restrictions
• return patient calls promptly
• support authorization and documentation
• maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
